Adia launched Another Day in Additive in 2023 to bring together New England’s best and brightest in the additive manufacturing and 3D printing space to connect on a regular basis, share ideas & common problems, and cultivate further expertise in the industry.
Unlike large global events dominated by OEMs and product launches, Another Day in Additive is intentionally local, independent, and user-only. It’s a space where engineers, researchers, and innovators share best practices, explore new technologies, and learn from each other’s real-world experiences without sales pitches.

how it started.
In 2023, Adia brought together 40 local professionals at the University of Connecticut’s Innovation Partnership Building for the very first Another Day in Additive meeting. The goal was simple: create a space where additive users could share knowledge openly without sales pitches or OEM agendas.
how it’s going.
Today, the group has grown to more than 180 members representing over 1,000 years of combined additive experience. Meetings are now hosted at leading organizations like Autodesk, Hasbro, Rennscot, and MIT, giving members insider access to some of New England’s most innovative spaces and a stronger network of peers who are shaping the future of additive manufacturing together.
